Here at Fulwell Signs, we produce a range of engraved wooden house signs using traditional skills alongside modern technology. We create bespoke signs using European Oak, Iroko and Ash, all FSC certified from sustainable sources. Our range includes house signs, memorial plaques, office and shed signs, and personalised wooden signage, all designed and made in our workshop in Westbury, Buckinghamshire. Our wooden house signs are made from high-quality timber that is well suited for outdoor use and will last for many years if properly maintained. As with any natural material, exposure to the elements may cause small splits or cracks over time. This is a normal part of how wood behaves and does not affect the strength or durability of your sign. When we receive your order we create a design representation & ask you to confirm you are happy for us to go ahead. At this stage we will advise our anticipated despatch date. This is normally 14 days from the day you confirm. However tell us the timeframe you are working to & we will try to achieve it. We know how important special days are.
Engraving involves cutting grooves into wood using different shaped chisels and cutting tools to create letters & shapes. Lasering is a process which burns the surface of the wood to create letters & shapes.
