We have some standard fonts which we know engrave well, but others are no problem.
Black is by far the most popular, but we can do any colour you like.
Yes, wood is very adaptable and all our signs are made in house so sizes are easy to alter.
Our wooden house signs are made from high-quality timber that is well suited for outdoor use and will last for many years if properly maintained. As with any natural material, exposure to the elements may cause small splits or cracks over time. This is a normal part of how wood behaves and does not affect the strength or durability of your sign. We offer a range of natural wood finish options, including untreated, oiled, or stained choices. Each finish enhances the wood’s unique character in a different way. Because wood is a natural material, it may develop small splits or cracks as it adjusts to outdoor conditions. This does not compromise the quality of the sign and often adds to its charm. When we receive your order we create a design representation & ask you to confirm you are happy for us to go ahead. At this stage we will advise our anticipated despatch date. This is normally 14 days from the day you confirm. However tell us the timeframe you are working to & we will try to achieve it. We know how important special days are.
Yes, we're happy to send orders to third parties. Simply provide the recipient's address at checkout, and we can include a personalised message if you'd like.
Engraving involves cutting grooves into wood using different shaped chisels and cutting tools to create letters & shapes. Lasering is a process which burns the surface of the wood to create letters & shapes.
Our primary carriers are Royal Mail & UPS. Most of our products go Royal Mail 48 hour Tracked which we find to be a fast and effective service. Larger items go via UPS Standard service (2 Day service). We are happy to upgrade your parcel by arrangement with you. We have been known to deliver items in person!
